I'm back baby!!!

Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I'm finally back online. I have spent at least an hour almost everyday on the phone with Cox Communications trying to figure out what was wrong with my computer. It has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life.

Finally, Cox tells me that there is absolutely nothing else that they can do for me. They were positive that it was either Mcafee blocking me from accessing the internet or that I had a bad system card in my computer.

I called Dell and spent $99.00 for their assistance. Which, by the way is such a freakin ripoff. I should get free technical support since I bought the damn computer. But, I caved in and spent $99.00. I was on the phone with this lovely gentleman for about 2 hours while he went through every little tiny thing. We were one step away from completely restoring my factory settings which would have resulted in me losing all of my files when he decided to try something. He had me change my connection speed from 100 to 10 and all of a sudden I was connected to the internet. I was shocked and so was he. But, whatever - it worked and I'm back baby!

I have a lot of blog reading to do so that I can catch up.
