Sunday night stuff
Okay - I'm not even going to say one word about the Ravens this weekend. UGH!!!!!
I had a great weekend at work. Rockstar (the drink) was sponsoring a motorcross event in the Grand Garden Arena and they were there for the whole weekend. Apparently they brought us a lot of business because I was pretty slammed Fri, Sat and Sun. I love that. Next weekend is going to take the cake though. Jimmy Buffett is playing and apparently it's our busiest night of the year. I can't wait!
I wish I had this job full-time cause it's the best. Unfortunately, I'm on-call still and I don't think I'll ever be full-time unless someone leaves. Next week, they only gave me 2 shifts. I was lucky though and I was able to pick up two nights from other people. As long as people keep giving up shifts - I'm good. But, just to be safe I gotta get another job I think.
Today I got sucked into a reality show that I've never seen before. It's called Top Chef and it's on the Bravo Channel. I loved it. I love all reality T.V. It's funny that I would like a show about chef's because I can't stand cooking. But at any rate when they got down to the last 3 contestants - they moved the show to the Las Vegas. woo hoo! Can anyone guess where in Las Vegas they stayed? That's right - THE MGM GRAND of course. It was really cool to watch. They showed my restaurant on T.V., they showed the Sky lofts where they stayed, they showed the head chef who is always in my restaurant - you get the point. I enjoyed watching it. They had a marathon and I laid in bed all day and watched it until I had to go to work.

Speaking of reality T.V..... This week was the first week of MTV's Real World Challenge. It's actually called the Duel this season and it's on Thursday nights now. One girl already punched another girl in the face on the first night. I think the drama is going to be at an all-time high this time around. God I watch the cheesiest shows.
Plans for this week:
A) Go see the Departed on my day off
B) Make an appt. and get my lazy butt to the dentist
C) Train for my new part-time job
D) Get to the Red Rock Casino and cash in a scratchoff that they have for me (I can't wait to do that - you have no idea about my obsession with scratchoffs)
E) Get a kitten (yes - it's still on the list)
F) Get oil changed (1st time ever in my new car)
Anyway - very exciting stuff on this list as you can see. Hope your week is exciting as mine.

I watch the same crappy reality shows, and I've got to agree that this season of RR/RW Challenge might not suck as much as it usually does (yet I keep watching...thanks wifey Kim!). As for Top Chef, it's the shit. A new season is starting soon, and I'm a big fan.
