Neteller Dilemma

YAY! I'm excited to play in the WPBT tomorrow and I hope to see you all there.
The good thing about working Monday - Friday is that I have Saturday and Sunday off like the rest of the world.
I'm not loving the job though. It's boring. I'm not a fan of working regular hours anymore. I thought I'd like getting off early and having my nights free. As it turns out, I'm actually spending a lot more time at work for a lot less money. Traffic SUCKS when you have to be at work at 8 a.m. and it's even worse at 5 p.m. when I get off and head home. They make us take an hour for lunch. I never even got breaks when I was waiting tables. I miss that. Time went by a lot faster and who needs lunch anyway?? I might be looking to wait tables again and I never thought I'd say that.
On the positive side - at least I have a job. The people I work with are pretty nice. The office is pretty. The computers are fast. I have access to the internet and there isn't anyone standing over my shoulder and micro-managing. They let me know what they expect and I do it. Good stuff.
So - last night I went out to dinner with a bunch of friends to a place called Shucks. They have clams (hence the name Shucks), oysters, crabs, shrimp, and all kinds of other stuff and it was very reasonable. The people I went with actually go there every Friday night, so I'm sure I'll be heading there again next week.
Tonight I am meeting my friend Jenna for dinner over at P.F. Changs in Henderson. It's in the same plaza as the Green Valley Ranch Casino and they also have some nice stores over there. We are doing some shopping after dinner to work off all the food.
Okay - so let me ask a question...
Has anyone else tried to get there money out of net teller? I took mine out over a week ago and it still hasn't shown up in my banking account. What's the deal? How long do I have to wait or am I just never going to get it??

Neteller update: I logged on today and my account has been closed even though I still have money left in the account. I called the customer service number and was informed that ALL MONIES are being held in some sort of trust account for the time being. Nobody can withdraw their money at this time. Would have been nice of them to maybe send me an e-mail or something considering I withdrew my money 2 freakin weeks ago.
This Blows! Why do I have the feeling that I will never ever see my money again??

I've no experience with net teller so can't really expound on it. Just wanted to say hello. About the Osmonds... they were a big Vegas act in their day! Maybe they'll have a reunion tour, complete with their Elvis costumes. One can only hope!

They are probably slowing down the cash outs because so many people are doing it.. I would not worry too much..

Carmen I did my withdrawal on 1/17/07 its still listed as pending EFT and my balance is zero. I have almost $2k there Im waiting on. That is about half my bankroll. From what I was told it could take up to two weeks to get my withdrawal. I have faith. They are publically traded. I think they have just been inundated with withdrawal requests and its clogged their arteries

I'm with Iron Girl. They can't just hold our money forever.
"The Road" is a stark book about nuclear war, but mostly about the relationship of a father and his efforts to keep him alive. So at times it's pretty hard to read but the writing is so good I didn't care. Plus I tend to like dark things like that. I play poker, don't I?
Let me know what you think.

I withdrew some money on Jan 16 -- right before the big news broke. At one point, my transaction was even listed as "Accepted" -- although the money never made it to my bank account. A few days later, the status was changed to "Pending."
Looks like we'll just have to be patient on this one.

Don't be desperate. I'm sure you will get your money. I think they just need some time to get enough liquidity as most of the money is most probably bound in some investments.

Sorry to hear all the problems with Neteller. The worst part is that they still haven't opened for trading since the whole issue even got aired.
Also thanks for noticing that I hadn't posted for a few days... I will be around grinding.

Don't forget the lettuce wraps.

Carmen - I won't be checking in to my hotel until Sunday just before noon. After the Super Bowl, I was thinking of playing at MGM (giving it another try), maybe Excalibur (since I am staying there Sunday night), or maybe going to one of my favorites: Venetian, Wynn, or Bally's. I'm trying to decide where the potential is for the most money with a bunch of drunken Super Bowl fans!

I dumped my money into Stars and Full Tilt but left enough in Neteller to buy a Wii...
... no Wii for me :(

Congrats on teh job. Yes, 8 to 5 traffic issues are no g00t, but think about it...you'll always be home in time to play the MATH, Mook, and whatever other brogger tourneys are out there that I'm still missing (working on it, working on it). Think positively, sweet little Carm. GL with Neteller. The nice thing about having a bankroll just this side of nada means I don't have to worry about getting my $$ out of the bastards. The downside, how do I reload to play the Mook et al. So it goes...

Latest word I got from customer support at Neteller was 4-6 weeks for EFT withdrawals. I would call them, cancel the withdrawal and find some nice friend in Canada to try a withdrawal from their end. They may be able to get through faster.
I got mine off my Neteller Debit card just before they shut them off.

Is it just me, or does this whole Neteller thing seem kinda sketchy?
