5. The Stratosphere



Don't laugh dammit! The reason I like the Stratosphere is because you get the best value there. When we came out here to find a place to live, we got a room at the stratosphere for like $39 a night. The room was clean and it served it's purpose. I also enjoy playing in the poker tournaments there. They have one at 8 p.m. if I remember correctly and the buyin isn't very costly, but you get a lot of chips and it was a lot of fun. Plus, you can go behind the building and buy any kind of drug you could ever want and let's be honest, that's always a good thing right? ha ha





Oh, and don't let me forget about the best thrill ride in Vegas.






I can't think of the name of this ride, wait, I kn ow - it's called "Insanity" and it's so freakin fun!! I loved it. All the rides at the top are pretty cool!

4. The Aladdin





I know it's not called the Aladdin anymore, but whatever. My favorite thing about the Aladdin is the shopping. They have some great stores, the mall is easy to navigate (unlike the Fashion Show Mall) and the prices are right. They have high end stores, but they also have reasonable places to shop too.



I also played in a tournament over there a few times when the poker room was under construction. I haven't been there in a while, so I don't know how the poker room looks now or even if the tournaments have the same structure. I should make it a point to head over there again soon.

3. The Rio





I like the Rio because it's the home of the WSOP!!!! I love that I can head down there anytime during the WSOP and walk through, watch the circuit events, try to satellite into the games and watch all the pro's play too. I also got to sit at the final table of the HORSE event last year. I hope to catch a few final tables this year too.


I also like the carnival. I think it's really cool!





The hooker bar has the loosest slots and they have a nice plentiful slot floor at the Rio, I like a nice variety. Also, I'm not a big fan of buffets, but the Rio had one of the nicest buffets that I've ever been too. Lastly, it's off the strip and it's a little easier to get to without dealing with a ton of traffic.

2. The MGM Grand



I basically like the MGM Grand for one major reason. The poker room! It's my favorite. I love the music that comes over from Centrifuge, I know all the dealers and most of them are cool as hell and most importantly, there is always a lot of action there.





I also love the lions. They are so cute!!!

I hate the slots at the MGM, they never payout. The restaurants are SO expensive at the MGM too. Even the freakin cafe is over-rated.



1. The Red Rock Casino









The Red Rock is my favorite because it's new, it's beautiful, they have great customer service over there, parking is usually pretty plentiful, they have the BIGGEST slot floor in all of Vegas. Not always a good thing, but whatever. The buffet is good, they send me a lot of coupons, I have a lot of comps there, the poker room has a bathroom in it. I don't know of any other poker rooms that have their own bathroom. That's a big thing!!




Most importantly, they have the coolest pool! I love it. I have a room key now, so I can go lay out over there whenever I want and it's GREAT. Not only do they have a huge pool with waterfalls, but Cherry nightclub also has a private pool too. I had the opportunity to hang out there last summer and that was fun. It's hidden, you would never even know it's there. Kinda cool! The spa over there rocks too.

Honorable mention goes to the Palms.




I love the Ghost Bar and I love N9Ne steak house. N9Ne is my favorite restaurant in Vegas so I couldn't leave it out. I hate the poker room though and the slots are tight and the people there think they are so better than. Pretentious ya know?
