Sunday night shows

Okay, this might be totally inappropriate, but I gotta say it anyway...
Did that guy in the loony bin with Junior remind anyone else of the Virgina Tech shooter? I'm talking about the Sopranos if you are wondering. I mean, the whole freakin time I was watching him follow Junior around like a little puppy dog and I was thinking this. Then, when his mother came to visit him and he flew off the handle about how she wanted him to make friends at M.I.T. I was thinking it even more. And, then of course in the end when he went ballistic and attacked Junior I was starting to get freaked out. I mean, what a crazy coincidence. Obviously this show was taped way before the shootings but this one hit a little too close to home for my comfort.

Was anyone else thinking the same thing or am I just crazy??
Thank god Vince is finally going to sleep with his agent. Maybe things will get weird and he'll go back to Ari. I WANT ARI BACK!!!!!

I'm glad they put Entourage on after the Sopranos. It makes me happy. Entourage puts a big smile on my face. The Sopranos sometimes is TOO dramatic for me. I start getting so involved in the story, worrying that Tony will go to jail and the he's going to whack Pauly. hehe Good lord I need a life.

I worked 8 hours yesterday to make up the time I took off on Thursday when I hung out with my dad. I could have worked today, but I chose to lay on the couch and veg all day. After that I got my nails and toes done. MUCH NEEDED. Now I can wear sandals again thank god.
Tuesday I'm finally getting my hair done. You have no idea how shitty it looks right now. I can't even stand looking in the mirror.
I played at the Red Rock with my dad the last day he was in town. We played 2-4 limit holdem and I remembered why I don't play limit. I hate it. I hate people that call every single bet and stay in every single hand and pull flushes out of their asses because you can't protect your hand in that game. Never again! I'm not doing it. It's way too frustrating.
The Red Rock Casino has been a very unhappy place for me lately. I'm staying away from there for a while. They just opened the new bowling alley this week and a bunch of friends went there last night and I went home. The Red Rock is a bad place for now. It'll be a good place again when I can get my ass out there to the pool. It's been too windy and cold for me to lay out but I think it's going to be in the 80's and 90's this week, so maybe next weekend I can lay out.
Well, it's practically Monday again. Hope everyone has a good week.

Sounds like you had a great week with your dad in town. I'm not a very good poker player. I would have to wear sunglasses and a hat and even then everybody would probably be able to read me.

Oh my GOD I totally thought the guy in the Sopranos was the guy from VT too! What bad timing...

I was thinking the EXACT same thing. An unfortunate coincedence to be sure. In fact I'll bet they made that character Asian because they didn't want it to be the sterotypical gangsta type black guy and an older white male wouldn't have been believeable. THAT'S ironic.
I still loved the show. It's getting really good. I really thought Tony was going to whack him but that would have been too easy and takes away some of the obvious tension building in the show. Plus it's an interesting relationship.
Also, they seem to be hinting that Tony's gambling will be the thing that will bring him down. Interesting.

We had a 20 minute discussion at work in our morning meeting about the guy on Sopranos. Looks like everyone was thinking the same thing.
Good or bad? But I really wish they would DO something on that show. There are only so many episodes left!

You lost me on the card thingy- so don't know gambling! I did grow up with three antique slot machines in our family room though!

Um, the question 'Was anyone else thinking the same thing or am I just crazy??', those are really two independent items there.
But sorry about the poker - and RR is such a pretty place.
