Star Trek?
Did anyone here know that the Hilton Hotel and Casino here in Las Vegas was Star Trek themed?
Well, it is. I had no idea. I'm walking through this place last night trying to find the cafe and I'm walking over floors that are blinking and lighting up, I keep hearing the captain talking over the loudspeaker, I'm expecting this spaceship to take off at any moment.
ha ha
Okay, the Hilton is LAME and I'm so glad I never wasted my time there before. So, my cousin, Debbie and her husband Vic were going to see Barry Mannilow last night. I had to suppress the urge to call her a "Fannilow" but all I kept thinking about is that episode of Will and Grace when Will is waiting in line for the Barry Mannilow tickets. So funny!
I look very tired here - well, I just got off work so whatever...
Here's the bad news, she's one month younger than me, does that mean I'm old enough to like Barry Mannilow too? Well, anyway, we had a quick dinner and they headed off to the show and now I can say that I've been to the Hilton.
So, tonight I'm going to play in the Grinder tournament at Planet Hollywood with Mookie and the gang!!!
I've been wanting to play in the new poker room over there and who DOESN'T want to play in a tournament with the Grinder? Ahhhhh - I love him. I am patiently waiting for him to get divorced. Tonight is step one in my plan - meet him. Step Two is make him fall in love with me and then step three is make him get divorced.
Piece of cake right?

I was at the Star Trek themed Hilton years ago...I like Star Trek, NERD ALERT, so it was not so bad...pretty well themed...
I am going to send my mom to visit your blog for sure...she loves Las Vegas and Dancing with the stars...you guys would get along famously :)

I remember reading about a Star Trek experience there but didn't know the Hilton was Star Trek themed. That would actually be pretty cool.

Ok first off....that dude is HAWT!!!!
Secondly, I stayed at the Hilton once, I am not a trekkie butr I LOVED the ride they have there.
On my last trip there this summer I stayed at Planet Hollywood. Cool place.

I actually have been to Star Trek Resturant at the Hilton where those characters walk around and call you things like "Strange Human". My ex-bf's sister is a trekie and we went for her.
I also have seen the Barry Manilow show. We did that for me!

I was aware of the Star Trek theme at the Hilton and want to go, but my wife executed her patented eye roll/deep sigh combination every time I mentioned it. I got the same reaction when I mentioned that the Nude Bullriding World Championship was in town.
Apparently her great taste applies only to men.

I've seen the Star trek stuff there. I'm not a Trekkie, so I wasn't bowled over, but I was with a friend who was, and he loved it. I've had to stomach much worse, so all in all, it wasn't bad!

Does this mean you won't be interested in going on the Star Trek rides at the Hilton with me (and anyone else who wants to) when I come out for the Winter Classic? They are both pretty cool, even if you aren't a total Trekker.
