Hump Day

Wow - the new girl started today! Literally she interviewed yesterday and today she shows up ready to work! Why the hell did I have to come bavck 5 times, take a test and go through a million interviews to get this job and she starts after one freaking day?! Whatever - good times! No filing for me. I don't even think I have to train her. Wow - I have a cush job. I'm so lucky.

My friend at work goes to the Red Rock Casino every single night to play slot machines. Literally, when I first met her she would spend $20 or $40 a night. The addiction has progressed to where she's spending $300, $400 and even $500 a night. I mean, she can do it because her and her husband don't have any kids, they make good money and he works late a lot because he's a big wig over at the new Trump Tower, so it's her form or entertainment.

Last night she left her wallet at work, so she went to the Red Rock without an I.D. or cash or even credit cards and holy shit they gave her a marker! Without an I.D. even. They gave her $500 bucks to just play with and all she had to do was fill out a form. I'm shocked. I thought they only gave markers to high roller craps and blackjack players. So, that was kind of neat to hear. I'll try not to EVER get myself into that situation. But who knew?!
