It's Friday!

Good morning and Happy Friday to everyone!

My sponsor is having a meeting for all of the women she sponsors on Saturday at her house. We do it once a month. She keeps taking on new sponsees, so the meeting is getting longer and longer. We each bring a dish and for the past 6 months I've been bringing the fruit platter. It's simple - I head to Smiths and buy one with lots of strawberries and pineapple and it's a really good day if I manage to find one with mango in it too. A lot of the girls are creative and they make fun dishes, but I don't cook, so I always bring chips, sodas or fruit platter.

About half of the group is on weight watchers, so they always bring some healthy low fat dessert which is annoying. hehe I think the more fattening the better.

What's everyone else doing this weekend?

Anyone coming to Vegas? I'm hoping to play some poker this weekend. I'm writing an article and it's poker room related, so of course, playing poker will be a work related task for me.

I've been in a major slump with my writing. I need to dig back in. Writing is so good for me, it gives me confidence, it's a good way to express myself and of course the money is great too. But, I haven't been able to sit down and write for a few weeks. It's time to work through this writer's block I have. I don't know what my problem is, but I need to get over it. Not to mention, the extra money is AWESOME. I need that money.

Next weekend is our annual Dopes on Slopes ski trip to Brianhead, UT. There is like 65 of us heading up there this year for the trip - can't wait! I had a blast there last year.
