In Mourning

There will be no Dancing with the Stars update this week because I'm in mourning. My boy, Adam Corolla was kicked off.

Most likely due to this travesty...

Yes, it sucked ass - and Adam's forte' is not dancing and it was probably time for him to go, but I'm a little sad, so I'm not doing an update.

Don't you guys worry your pretty little heads though - I'll be back at it next week for sure and my picks to go all the way are Jason Taylor and yes, of course Kristi because she is very very good. But, Adam has a good point. If it was to come down to Kristi and Jason in the finals, I think America would choose Jason because he does not dance for a living. Kristi used to dance on ice, she's used to the little outfits, working with a choreographer and all that stuff. I think America likes to see an underdog win and that would be the 6 foot 5 football player who has probably never danced in front of a crowd ever in his life.

Anyway, enough about that.

I heard some crazy story this morning about a bunch of cheerleaders in high school harassing a girl, beating her up a few times and kidnapping her. They are all in jail right now. They even had 2 boys standby as lookouts. Most of them are under age, but they might be tried as adults. It all started because they were talking smack about each other on myspace. Good lord - I am so glad they didn't have myspace when I was in high school.

I had some tough times back in those days. I was a cheerleader too, I was pretty well liked for a while, I had a lot of friends, but I was really mean other people and eventually it caught up with me. Remember slam books? Anyone Anyone? That was our version of myspace. And luckily, it wasn't all over the internet for everyone to see. I can remember sitting down with a friend when the yearbook came out and writing all over people's faces with nasty comments like "geek, loser, gross, snotty" and all of those really mature expletives. I used to call people names, start nasty rumors, and just be downright mean to people. I don't recall ever getting a band of girls together and some guys to "lookout" for us and kidnapping anyone though - thankfully! They are getting really angry these days.

The cop in his press interview said that the girls showed no remorse and one of them even asked "will I be out in time for cheerleading practice tomorrow?" ha ha No concept of what's in store for them.

It's time for me to eat my leftover nachos for breafast - breakfast of champions!

I thought Adam needed to go. He was the worst dancer last week. And he's kind of an asshole. LOL ;-)

I heard about that story too. The internet is literally ruining people's lives. I have heard more stories like this since sites like MySpace and Facebook and whatever else got started, than I ever heard before. It's tragic, but on the other hand . . . it's not the internet's fault. It's just sad that the human race can be so cruel.

Sometimes I think kids in this country are being raised like animals. Maybe not that well, come to think of it.
