OH, the drama
You guys wouldn't even believe the drama that's been going on with my bowling team. I wish I could actually go into details, but unfortunately it's not my gossip to tell, so for now I'm just going to say that I'll be thrilled if we make it through the summer league with our team still in tact. As it is, there are tons of rules on this league that I was totally unaware of. For instance, the original four team members have to bowl the last three games of the season - No subs! Well, technically we have like 6 people on our team even though only 4 of them are signed up. We just take turns switching out every week. If you remember, we wanted an all girl team but there had to be a 3:1 ratio, so we went ahead and got two boys.
Blah Blah, to make a long story short, one of our guys wants to drop out, but he's one of the original four and if he drops out, we will have to forfeit because we aren't allowed to have any subs the last three weeks in august. UGH! I thought being on a league would be fun, but it's actually starting to be a major hassle.
Not to mention that the whole league hates us anyway. That just makes me want to keep bowling.
Two days until my mom arrives! How exciting is that?? I'm pretty psyched!
Has anyone ever ordered summer rolls from a thai food place? I went to get Thai Food tonight from this new place down the street and I got my usual Basil Chicken and it was pretty damn good, but instead of getting spring rolls which I always get, I decided to try something different - I figured the summer rolls couldn't be too scary, I mean summer is very close to spring right? I was wrong!! They were so NASTY!!!!! I hated them. They were like raw vegetables rolled in raw rice paper. That was it. There was no deep frying, no nice coating, and they had this awful after taste. This is how bad they were - I gave one to Lucy and she wouldn't even eat it! Now you know they are bad when Lucy won't eat it. She will honestly eat anything and I mean anything!! The dog tries to eat other dog's poop when I take her for a walk. But no summer rolls.
So, beware - stay away from the summer rolls.
Speaking of Lucy - I took a few new pics...
Could she be any cuter?
Oh, and of course I had to take a snapshot of my hair - I swear when I get rich I'm going to hire my hair stylist to do my hair full time.

Well, that's about it for me tonight. Peace out!!

If I were on your bowling team you might want to quit yourself cause I would spend the entire time singing Score Tonight from Grease 2.
I had some really good sushi from a Thai/Japanese restaurant last week. I would eat Raw Tuna and Salmon every day for the rest of my life if I could afford it.
Have a good time with you mom and your hair looks really good. ;)

I hope those were just particularly bad summer rolls because I usually love them. Especially with a nice peanut sauce.

Addicts + bowling = major drama.
I don't know if you saw my project on that meth addict. It's not nearly as exciting as your former life but you might want to check it out. It's linked on the blog a few posts down.

One of the reasons I don't join things like bowling teams is because there is ALWAYS someone who ruins it for everyone else. Someone who suddenly wants to quit, or can't make it for bullshit reasons or whatever. It's never worth it.

Did you read the story? It's long, so take your time, but I think you might find it interesting. I thought of you and Don when I wrote it.
Bowling + Co-workers = drama

"...tons of rules on this league that I was totally unaware of..."
Sounds like having a bowling team is becoming a drag, but maybe if you wish to continue playing, perhaps you should take the time to learn the rules? That way your team can be better organized as being unprepared creates much animosity and resistance from the other frustrated leagues that have full knowledge of the rules. Or instead of competing, you could just organize a bunch of friends to play together and have a good time without all the hassles?

Or you could just continue what you are doing, complaining endlessly about getting negativity & dirty looks from the other teams. Looking foolish on a daily basis because you never took the time to learn the rules of a bowling league. Hate me if you will, it's your whiney, immature rantings and complaints but you do admit how you deliberately like to ruffle the feathers of the other teams - their problem if they got a problem with your sorry ass team! Grow up Carmen Cincotta!

"Not to mention that the whole league hates us anyway. That just makes me want to keep bowling."
This statement says a lot about you!
No recognition of how actions on your part could have caused this, and yet you deliberately wish to piss off other people with your immature, disorganized antics.
Tell me Carmen...are you one of those people who arrives late at the movies and talks loudly - disturbing the other patrons while you talk on your cell phone? Right, They are the assholes, not you....Sure

Drama?
You helped create this drama, Cincotta!

Some people just love drama. It's bizarre. Your hair is looking great, though.

I bowl frequently and really suck at it. Like really bad!!! So no leagues for me. Also, your pup is gorgeous. She should play with my pup sometime :)
