Well, I finally went to the dentist over the weekend. I haven't been to the dentist in about 3 years. I have dental insurance and after putting it off forever, I finally decided to stop coming up with excuses and go to the dentist. I even found a place that was open on Saturday and it was less than 2 miles from my front door. No more excuses!!

I'm so glad I did it. I had the first appt. and I was there for two freaking hours. I had a full set of x-rays taken, they found 3 smallish cavities, they fixed them all and gave me a thorough cleaning. I initially went there with a toothache and it actually turned out to be a nerve that is exposed. Not fun. I had to pay $220 out of pocket for everything and I was okay with that. Of course it would have been great if the whole thing was covered, but that didn't happen. My dentist was female and she was very attractive. I've never had a female dentist before and the office was SO NICE. They had plasma TV screens on the ceiling and they gave me the remote control. So, I watched The Girls Next Door and Keeping up with the Kardashians while I was having my work done. It was a great experience. I'll definitely keep up with it this time.

Roommate turned me onto a new show called Little Britain USA. It's sort of like slapstick comedy. It's on HBO (god I love HBO) and it's pretty damn funny. Not my usual cup of tea, but what the hell. It's just two guys that do all of the skits. Here's one of the skits I really enjoyed...



and then of course you'd have to be living on another planet to have missed all of the funny Saturday Night Live skits with Tin Fey and her spot on impression of Sarah Palin. I REALLY loved the debate from this weekend - this is a must see if you haven't seen it already you Mavericks...
