DWTS - Week 2

As we all know, Kim Kardashian was kicked off this week. It wasn't a surprise to anyone because even though she's got some junk in the trunk and she is beautiful - she can't dance! I was really surprised. I thought for sure she'd be working it.

Anyway, I'll start with the Queen of Daytime - Susan Lucci and her partner Tony - they did the rumba.

Her rumba was smooth and elegant - but it wasn't very SEXY. The rumba is a very sexy and sensual dance when done properly and Susan has natural talent, but she needs to let loose and get RAW. She's a bit too careful, but hopefully she will let loose.

Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson did a very powerful and creative Pasa Doble.

It reminded me of the movie The Matrix. I enjoyed it and I just love him. He's light on his feet, he is very suave and he is a joy to watch.

Here is their dance...

I think they will go far in this competition.

Olympian, Maurice Green and Cheryl Burke did the rhumba.

I think Maurice has a great personality and him and Cheryl have a lot of chemistry. In a few more weeks they might be really good. Their rhumba this week was a little rough, but with a little more practice they have real potential.

Misty May Treanor and Maxim did the Pasa Doble. Let me just state for the record that I can't stand him. He's a dick! He was talking down to her during practice, he was really hard on her and she was almost in tears. It's fucking bullshit - it is SO obvious that he thinks his shit don't stink. There are far better teaching techniques and I just really don't like the way he was talking to her. Actually, I will post the clip so that you can watch it for yourself...

Am I over-reacting? What did you guys think??

Anyway, I thought their rumba was a bit stiff. She went for it, she's powerful and athletic, but she doesn't seem to have much rhythm. She also looked very uncomfortable. She was probably scared that he was going to beat her if she didn't perform well. ha ha Just kidding.

Rocco the Chef and Karina the stuck up bitch did a pretty good rumba.

It definitely wasn't the best I've seen and he needs to work on his hip action, but I am seeing some real improvement in his dances each week. Not to mention his sexy cooking talk in the pre-interview thing was making me really hungry. He's obviously a great cook.

Cloris and Corky did the Pasa Doble and surprisingly she wasn't showing any cleavage...

It wasn't a particularly good routine, but she obviously tried, and for being 82 years old it wasn't bad. She's obviously not going to win because she can't really move very well, but she is extremely funny, so I think Corky should add more funny choreography to her routine. He didn't do that this week so it was just kind of blah.

Toni Braxton and Alec did an effortless rumba...

They have a lot of chemistry, the dance was very sexy and it looked effortless because she obviously has a lot of natural dance ability. They are a force to be reckoned with.

Brooke Burke and Derek Hough did the Pasa Doble...

I gotta be honest - I didn't love it. The judges did though. It was a solid performance, but I just thought it was lacking in the WOW factor. She is a great dancer though and I expect HUGE things from her.

Cody and Julianne did a very romantic and sexy rumba...

He has a great work ethic for someone so young and it's so obvious that he has a crush on Julianne. It's adorable. Anyway, they did a sold routine, he needs to loosen up a bit and learn how to isolate the hips a little better - just kind of clean things up. We'll see how they do next week. I'm not exactly sold on him yet, but I do think they are fun to watch.

And last but not least - my favorite couple - Lance Bass and Lacy Schwimmer did the pasa doble to the very popular song by Katy Perry "I Kissed A Girl"...

It was very modern and fresh. They took a big risk and they just went for it - that's why I love them so much. Len of course (the cranky judge) didn't care for it, but the audience sure did.

See it for yourself...

I guess nobody will be sent home this week though because Misty May Treanor broke her ankle while practicing on Friday. So, she's out!
