It's Friday!

So, I went to the Health Place yesterday to renew my Health Card. I didn't realize that if you let the stupid thing expire, which I did, that you have to pay penalties for a new one. What fucking bullshit. It's not a fucking driver's license or insurance, it's a stupid ass health card. So, instead of paying $35, I had to pay $65. What a fucking scam. Yeah, Nevada doesn't have state taxes, but they sure do find other ways to screw you.

Anyway, I got the stupid card so now I'm good for 3 years.

Today is my last full week day off work. I don't have anything exciting planned. I'll probably just watch some T.V. and relax during the day and then Sari and I are hitting a meeting tonight and going out for Thai food. YUMM! I haven't sat down and had thai food in months. I'm excited.

Apparently ex roommate and I aren't going to be keeping joint cell phones anymore, so I'm shopping around for a new one. I was gonna go with Metro PCS or Cricket since they are very reasonable and you don't need to have good credit for either of them, but my mom told me to look into a family plan for her and my dad and I. So, I've been shopping around and so far I'm liking the AT&T with rollover minutes. It would be great to carry the extra minutes from month to month - especially because my parents only use their cell phones like once a month. So, basically, all of the minutes would be for me to use!

Do any of my readers use AT&T? Does anyone have a strong opinion, good or bad about AT&T??

Happy Friday!!

If you get AT&T you could get an iPhone (like $99 for an "older" model 3G (the new model is the 3Gs...).

The rap on AT&T is generally considered to be crummy coverage, but ymmv in Las Vegas.

Carmen,

I have had AT&T for several years now. I've been very happy with it. Excellent coverage overall and the cost is comparable to any of the others.

Just remember the AT&T rollover minutes do not last forever. It is a rolling 12 month period, where the 12th month minutes are dropped or lost every new month.

Have a great weekend. Enjoy.

MMM Thai food. I think you have just made my decision of what's for dinner.

I've had AT&T and it's great but it has its bad moments. For instance I was in down town L.A. for the Laker parade on Wed. and had barely 1 bar. Had to do the move around thing to get service. But thats in L.A. Vegas might be different.

AT&T is considered the worst wireless company out there. Google is your friend. Research it before you make a mistake.

The iPhone is great. I've had one since the launch of the orginal, but I don't think you want an $83(minimum) phone bill each month.

ATT charges extra for text and extra again for internet but I still pay only $150 per mo for 5 phones on a family plan. Plus the rollover is great.

I have always had a good experience with the service.

I've had AT&T for almost five years now, and would recommend them to anyone. Never once had a single problem with them.

Before them, I had Sprint for about three years, and it was the shittiest service EVER. Never going back. Keeping AT&T till the Feds go all 1982 on them and they get busted up again.

Oh man, I love me some Thai food, too.

I just switched myself over to A&T from Sprint - left the kids at Sprint but I was hankering for a touch phone in a bad way and AT&T has the best. I started looking at the Iphone but the iphone charges were killer. I got the LG Vu and love it but the plan is still kind of expensive because you have to get data plan. Good luck.
