So funny!

So, today is my day off. We've been training everyday from like 8 or 9 a.m. til 5 or 6 p.m. It's mostly been classroom training which is kind of boring. Today I have to spend a good chunk of my day studying because tomorrow I have to take a big test on the menu. Luckily, my trainer is so sweet! She got a copy of the test and read it to us. So, I know exactly what's on it and what I need to study! I love this chick! She's been with the company 19 years and she flew in from Orlando to train with us for the next few weeks.

Anyway, here's a funny story...

I was driving to work yesterday (Sunday morning) and it was like 8:30 a.m. and I needed some gas. So, I stop at this gas station on Flamingo right across the street from the Palms and I go in to pay for the gas. As I'm walking back out to my car, this guy stops me and introduces himself. He was nice enough. He said he was from L.A. and his name was Suge. He walked out to my car and pumped my gas for me. So, the pump turns off at 6 dollars and he's like "how come you are only putting 6 dollars in?" and I"m like "well, I don't get paid for a few days and this is all the money I have." So, he gives me a twenty dollar bill which was nice and then he gave me his number and asked if I wanted to hangout sometime. So, I go back into the gas station and I told the clerk that this random guy outside just gave me a twenty dollar bill and I wanted to put some more gas in my car. The clerk is like "girl, don't you know who that guy is??" and I was like, "Is that Suge Knight?" and she's like "yes it is!" How funny!!! Suge Knight gave me his number and twenty bucks. This is why I love living in Vegas!
