Yay!
So, I'm pretty psyched! I went to the Hard Rock Casino today to apply for a position at the new Hard Rock Cafe that is opening on the strip. First I filled out an application, next I had an interview. A few minutes later I had another interview, after that they sent me across the street for my third interview and then they hired me!!!! Yay! I filled out tons of paperwork and now I'm in. Yay! I'm so glad I quit that dead end job in Summerlin. We have orientation from like 6 - 10 p.m. next week. Weird time for orientation right? I thought so. Then, I think we train for about 2 weeks and then I finally start earning some actual money. This new restaurant is huge. It's 3 levels and something like 40,000 SF. FUN! There is no way in hell that this restaurant will be slow. It's right next to the MGM and the M & M Factory. That part of the strip is always packed!
So, now, whenever you guys come into town, you can come by the Hard Rock and visit me. woo hoo!
