Short one

I know I've been totally neglecting my baby. I just want to let everyone know that things are good. I've just been super busy trying to find a job and going to meetings etc. So far so good. I've been clean almost a month now. Good stuff!!

Easter was pretty good this year. My mom's neighbors had a bunch of people over and they put out a very nice spread. There was a lot of good food - especially desserts. Yum. Even more impressive than the food was the picture they had of Cheryl Burke in their study signed, 'your niece, Cheryl'. YUP! Cheryl Burke is the neighbor's niece. How cool is that????

So. the other day I got a call from Don and he told me that Lucy had been in a fight and that she was in surgery and it wasn't looking good. I totally broke down. The thought of my Little Lucy laying there in pain and possibly dying was just too much for me to handle.

Brief Story - Lucy got out of the yard and got into a fight with another pit bull and there was a lot of blood. Lucy has a broken leg and whole in her chest. She was in surgery for 3 hours but thank god she's okay. I miss her so much. We all hope they come back to Vegas sometime soon.

I gotta run. I'm getting a much needed hair cut and then I'm off to the Cannery for my ten dollars in free slot play. Can't miss that!!
