Um, Really?
Well, I caved in and decided to spend $3.99 and rent Despicable Me on itunes. I had that gift card from my uncle anyway. So, I'm about to watch it. So excited. It's too bad that it goes away after you watch it. I was hoping I could watch it all month or something. Oh well. I might just have to bite the bullet and buy it from the actual store. Can you imagine? Buying a DVD from the store? What a crazy concept.
I just thought I'd mention that I'm on the losing streak from hell. I love to tell you guys about my awesome winning streaks, but it's not so fun talking about the losing ones. I haven't had a winning session for at least a whole week and maybe more. It's so crazy, but it's true. Winning and losing, at least for me, definitely comes in spurts. Some days even weeks go by where I simply cannot lose. It doesn't matter what machine I play on or what casino I go to, I just keep winning. And, additionally, the same goes for losing. I'm in losing streak hell right now. It sucks. My dad is too. Hopefully it'll be over soon.
I heard this story on the radio the other day and I thought you guys would like to share in my outrage...
This is seriously disgusting, unbelievable, shocking, amazing and simply the biggest "oh my god, are you serious?" story I've ever read. This incident happened one year ago, the pervert is still employed, he's employed by the SCHOOL district, the incident happened at WORK on SCHOOL property with SCHOOL equipment and he's never even been suspended? Um. What the hell??? How does THIS happen?

As to the internet chat-room perverts, its sort of a To Catch A Predator without any video or voiceovers from Chris Hansen.
Now some of those shows lead to lawsuits and to suicides. The entire program in one Texas town lead to the DA announcing he would not prosecute any of the men who showed up at the house. One case in Petaluma, CA resulted in two separate transcripts of the chat room session. How can two different transcripts exist? One man in that Petaluma sting spend over two million dollars trying to stay out of jail. Everyone else just pleaded guilty and did their time. One administrator of the chat-room lures made statements about computer malfunctions that were absurdly nonsensical, so don't think the good guys are honest.
There are very many teenage girls who every night utter a prayer of thanks to Chris Hansen and the Dateline show. Those girls now are able to charge far more money than they used to charge, so don't think the shows have not been a benefit.
I doubt Las Vegas wants to fire someone who is probably a union employee and who sent his dirty pictures to a non-existent girl in Utah. If it was an real girl and she lived in Nevada, the school system might be forced to fire him, but Nevada voters rarely care about people in Utah, particularly if they are non-existent.
