Facebook anyone?

For dinner tonight I had Birthday Cake Remix from Coldstone. I try not to eat ice cream for dinner every night - but sometimes you just gotta do it. It's becoming more evident to me that at some point in my life I might want to learn how to cook. I'm not sure if it's the fact that I have no interest in cooking or the fact that I'm just plain lazy. Maybe it's a little of both.

Anyway, I'm glad Monday is just about over. My weekend was nice. I did the show on Friday, Saturday I pretty much worked all day and then went to a meeting and a dance at night. Yes - a dance. I can't even remember the last time I danced while sober. It was actually a good time. Sunday I laid out at the Red Rock pool and played in Alcanthang's game. It was a lot of fun.

I'm starting to get concerned about the Soprano's. How in the hell are they planning on tying up all of the loose ends with only 5 episodes left? I just don't see how it's going to happen. I will be pissed if they leave me hanging. I mean, whatever happened to Chris and his heroine habit? I never even see him anymore. And how about his ex girlfriend getting killed off for being a rat? Is that ever going to come to light? What about Tony's gambling and the FBI building a case against him? And most importantly, am I going to have to watch that kid take anymore dumps in the shower?? ha ha Um - yeah, that was a creative scene.

Right now I'm watching this Coyote Ugly Challenge on the Country Music Channel. I'm wondering if I'm the only person in America that loves this show. I probably am.

So, I joined Facebook. Anyone else registered on this site? I haven't had a chance to really explore the site. I just thought it would be a good way to organize my photos and give my family a chance to see my pictures. I didn't even realize that you can find people from high school and all that other stuff. I'll have to play with it at work this week. So far I have to albums that I put together.

This is my facebook link if anyone is interested. I hope to create an album this week with bloggers that I've met.

Time for me to go to bed - Goodnight!

Oops! Set off the alarm

The tickets came through and I went to see Spamalot at the Wynn last night. Ummmmm - yuck! I didn't like it at all. I've never seen the Holy Grail and apparently there is a good reason for that. I mean, I'm just not into that kind of humor. To be honest, a lot of it was over my head. I will give the Wynn props for the cool theater and the fun costumes and the pretty lighting and all that night stage stuff. Plus, it was kind of cool to see John O'Hurley up close. I always kind of liked him as Elaine's boss on Seinfeld. He's pretty talented. There is no mistaking his voice - he has such a unique sound. They wore a lot of costumes, but you could always tell which one he was because of that voice. I hope he gets the Price Is Right gig. I think he would do an excellent job.

So, that's me and Jenna at her house. Her husband was nice enough to snap a few pictures of us before we went out. I should have taken a picture of her new pool cause it's really cool! She designed it herself and it's got a bar in it with stools!

Isn't she a cutie pie???? Her and I went to high school together, but we didn't even know each other. Then, when I moved out here to Vegas, a friend of mine told me to call her because she lives out here too. I'm glad I did! We have a really good time together and she's my favorite shopping partner. That's important!

Since we were already on the strip, we decided to head downtown to Fremont Street. I rarely ever go there, but it can be a fun place as long as you stay on the strip and don't go into any neighborhoods. Anyway, I got to see the latest light show so that was fun. I haven't seen one of those in like a year.

In fact, the last time I watched the Fremont Street Experience was when I won the afternoon tournament at Binions. That was a good day!! It's probably the last tournament I won. DAMN - I suck.

Today I came into work for a few hours and then I ran down the street to the store for a few minutes. The cleaners were here when I left, but they weren't here when I got back and they turned the alarm on. I have a separate door to my office and the lights were still on and that door was locked, so I strolled in and the alarm started going off. It was so freakin loud. I ran to the keypad and punched in the code and went back to the desk. If you set off the alarm, they come over the loudspeaker and ask for a password. I was back to my desk already when I heard something on the loud speaker. I ran back over to answer them, but they were gone already. Anyway, they called the office manager and she called my desk and we were able to stop them before they dispatched an officer. GOOD! I know we get charged if they dispatch someone, so hopefully we won't get charged for this.

I can definitely say I'm awake now. My heart was pumping hard there for a while!

Lucy hasn't gotten much air time lately, so I thought I'd throw a picture of her on here to make her happy.

I hate thinking of titles for posts...

My boss sent me an e-mail a few days ago and offered me free tickets to see Spamalot at the Wynn. I'm supposed to go tonight with my friend Jenna. I haven't gotten the tickets yet. I e-mailed the guy, but he didn't write back and now I have his number, so I'll try to get through to him today.

Has anyone ever seen Monty Python's Spamalot? I've never even watched the Holy Grail. I probably won't even like it that much, but they are free tickets and I like the Wynn - so whatever. Who knows? I may be surprised.

Here's the new haircut...

I got less blonde and more red. It's pretty cool - I'm happy with it.

This is Erin and I at work this morning...

My boss is gone from today all through next week! YAY! Not that I don't like him, cause I actually do like him very much - I just like reading blogs more. hehe

Don't forget about this Sunday...

And the blogger gathering in June....

Adam Corolla is in a new movie called the hammer. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with poker, but it's a cool name anyway.

I listen to his morning show everyday and he cracks me up. He's so funny. I even go to the website and listen to it live when I get into work. He had Morgan Freeman on there the other day and I remembered why I like him so much. He's a great actor and a really cool guy. He was talking about how much he hates Black History Month and that he thinks it's ridiculous. I couldn't agree more. Don't get me started on that topic. Where's the white history month?

Anyway, just thought I'd make a friday list. I haven't done that in a while...

My favorite 5 actors (based soley on acting - not looks)

5. Leonardo DiCaprio

4. Morgan Freeman

3. Mark Wahlberg

2. Robert DeNiro

and my favorite actor...

1. Edward Norton Jr.

Anybody care to share their favorites?

DWTS - Week 6

Goddamn!!!! Blogger is such a piece of shit. I've been trying to get this damn post up for the past few hours but I couldn't log in. And, how dare ABC not put the pictures up for week 6 of Dancing with the Stars. They have some nerve! I actually opened an account on their website so I could bitch about the pictures not being there.

So, here we go.

This is prime example of why Heather Mills was booted off the show last night.

Check out the awkardness in this picture. Yes, she had a lot of difficulty in the routine, but if it looks forced and uncomfortable and painful, then it's not good dancing.

She had a good run and lasted a lot longer than anyone thought. Funniest thing was that she brought a goodbye speech with her because she knew she was getting kicked off.

I love Joey Fatone! Have I mentioned that lately? I swear to god I hate it when they put his dance on first, because then I have nothing to look forward to for the rest of the show. Well, I enjoy Apolo too, but Joey's the man.

Look how cute he is. I love him. Joey and Kym did the Samba. They nailed it. What a fun routine!!!! Kym Johnson gets all the funny partners. She had Jerry Springer last season and although he sucked, he lasted quite a while because he has such personality. Joey's got rythm, a lot of it, but he also has a great personality and that's pretty important when you are dancing.

It needs to be fun people!!!!! Don't do it if you aren't having fun.

This is their samba, unfortunately I couldn't get the cut version, so I you have to watch a minute of the training before it goes to the actual dance.

Another fun routine - John Ratzenberger and Edyta!! They did the mambo and although his footwork was all messed up and he doesn't have any natural talent in the dancing area, I will say that he's trying so hard and he's progressing and I like watching him. Most likely he'll be gone next week though. Either him or Billy Ray. At least we still get to watch hot ass Edyta!

Laila Ali and her partner did the cha cha cha...

Let me tell you something about Laila - she is GOOD. Do not discount her because she's a very strong force in this competition. I wouldn't be surprised if she's in the final two. She's the last woman standing and I'd love to see her take this to the end. I mean, I don't want her to beat Joey, but she's got talent. The cha cha cha they did had a lot of flava. It was funky and she even threw the tootsie roll in there. Did anyone else catch that??????

Billy Ray Cyrus and Karina Smirnoff did the jive...

It was cute! He had fun with it. Just for the record, they should NEVER make Billy Ray wear sleeves. I wanna see those arms dammit.

Okay, seriously, he's not good. Let's just put that out there. He doesn't have what it takes to win. He works HARD as hell though. I bet he puts in more time than most of the others. At least he had fun with it this week even if it wasn't exactly correct. It was very entertaining though.

Apolo and Juliane totally mixed it up this week with a very creative rumba...

I LOVED IT. Wow - so sexy. I mean, smokin hot. They did this thing with the chair and it was just really good.

My favorite part was this stand up split thing that she did...

NICE!!!! I used to be really flexible like that too, but she's got a pretty sick body. All the dancers do. She had her brother on there this week helping her train Apolo. He wasn't bad looking! They are both professional dancers. Very cool.

Cheryl Burke and Ian Zehring did the paso doble...

Check out the look in his face...

This is why he's going home soon - this uncomfortable, trying too hard, not having fun look on his face!

I wasn't impressed. I mean, he knows the dances, he does the correct steps and he definitely has rythm. BUT - it never comes together the way it's supposed to. He needs to do something really great next week or else his time will be coming to end very soon.

I thought I'd throw Laila Ali's cha cha cha in here since she had a great routine too.

This one is un-cut too.

Hump Day!

The site that I get my Dancing with the Stars pictures from hasn't posted the images for week 6 yet! How am I supposed to do a writeup without pictures????

Anyway, is anyone surprised by this in the least???

NEW YORK - Rosie O'Donnell's stormy tenure on "The View" will be a short one. The opinionated host was unable to agree on a contract with ABC, and she'll leave the show in June.

"My needs for the future just didn't dovetail with what ABC was able to offer me," O'Donnell said in a statement Wednesday.

"This has been an amazing experience," she said, "and one I wouldn't have traded for the world."

O'Donnell has helped raise the ratings for the daytime chat show invented by Barbara Walters. But her outspokenness has caused almost constant controversy, including a nasty name-calling feud with Donald Trump that placed Walters squarely in the middle.

"I induced Rosie to come back to television on 'The View' even for just one year," Walters said. "She has given the program new vigor, new excitement and wonderful hours of television. I can only be grateful to her for this year."

Walters was frequently left to clean up the damage after O'Donnell. She did it most recently Monday, when O'Donnell was criticized for using bad language and attacking Rupert Murdoch from the dais of the annual New York Women in Communication awards luncheon.

"I would like to point out that Rosie's view is not always mine," Walters said. "I would like to say for the record that I am very fond of Rupert Murdoch."

In the Trump imbroglio, O'Donnell was reportedly mad that Walters did not come more swiftly to her defense, while Trump said Walters told him she didn't want O'Donnell on the show — a claim Walters denied.

Statements by public figures are being watched more closely in the post-Don Imus era. The lobbying group Focus on the Family said it was preparing to contact advertisers on "The View" as part of a campaign against O'Donnell. The group is angry at O'Donnell for comments they feel were insulting to Catholics.

Despite controversy — or maybe because of it — O'Donnell was good business for ABC, owned by the Walt Disney Co. Ratings for "The View" during February sweeps were up 15 percent in key women demographics over the same time in 2006.

Don't know what to say about this...

April 24, 2007

HORRIFIED diners watched in shock as a maniac sliced off his manhood in a crowded pizza restaurant.

The 35-year-old Pole burst into the Zizzi eaterie in central London and grabbed a knife from the kitchen.

He then leapt on a table and dropped his trousers as customers fled screaming.

A witness said: “There was blood everywhere. Everyone ran out of the place.”

Surgeons battling to save the severed willy tried to sew it back on in the first UK op of its kind.

Quick-thinking cops recovered the organ from the restaurant floor after subduing its crazed owner with CS gas.

The manhood was packed in ice and taken with the man to London’s St Thomas’s Hospital.

A spokesman there confirmed doctors had attempted to re-attach it, but the hospital refused to say whether the procedure had been successful.

The 200-seater restaurant on The Strand in central London was packed with runners and spectators from Sunday’s Marathon.

Sales rep Stuart McMahon, who was eating supper with his girlfriend, said: “This guy came running in then charged into the kitchen, got a massive knife and started waving it about.

“Everyone was screaming and running out as he jumped on a table, dropped his trousers and popped his penis out. Then he cut it off. I couldn’t believe it.

“The staff were really upset and there was blood everywhere.”

Police sped to the scene and restrained and handcuffed the man. Several diners were treated for shock by ambulance crews.

A spokesman for the Zizzi restaurant chain said: “It all happened in a matter of seconds and was obviously extremely frightening and distressing. The manager and staff bravely helped evacuate the restaurant.”

Last night cops were trying to establish the Pole’s background. He had left no identification in the clothing he discarded. A source said: “We believe he’s Polish and 35. We don’t know if he has a history of mental illness, but he’s clearly not a well boy.”

A Met Police spokeswoman said: “Officers arrived to find a 35-year-old man with severe self-inflicted injuries.

“No other people were injured and the man was not arrested. He is now stable in hospital.”

The man will be assessed by psychiatrists following treatment for his wounds and is expected to be held under the Mental Health Act for his own safety.

The diner remained shut yesterday for a clean-up operation. It was due to re-open last night.

The Royal College of Surgeons confirmed this was the first time that anyone in the UK had had their penis sewed back on.

After controlling the blood loss, doctors had to repair the blood supply and reanimate the tissue by rejoining the arteries and veins under a microscope.

Top Italian plastic surgeon Dr Nicolo Scuderi said of the operating technique: “We don’t know how much sensitivity and function will be regained.”

I want straight hair

I better start playing so that I can win a token for this Sunday!

Tomorrow night is out of the question because as we already know I'm getting my hair cut and colored - thank god! And then of course I have to do a Dancing with the Stars writeup. Can't let my readers suffer now can I?

UPDATE - I won my token for Sunday!

Actually, I have the most fun when I take the notes and do the re-cap. It's a lot of fun for me. I feel like I totally missed my calling in life.

So, I'm thinking I really like this hairstyle - it's cute and very chic. I don't have blonde hair though, I like to do it with red and blonde highlights. Plus, my hair is not straight, it's curly, so it might be kind of difficult to work with.

I also like this style, but again, it's blonde and straight which is the total opposite of me and could be very time consuming.

I think I might just leave it up to my stylist tomorrow.

Sunday night shows

Okay, this might be totally inappropriate, but I gotta say it anyway...

Did that guy in the loony bin with Junior remind anyone else of the Virgina Tech shooter? I'm talking about the Sopranos if you are wondering. I mean, the whole freakin time I was watching him follow Junior around like a little puppy dog and I was thinking this. Then, when his mother came to visit him and he flew off the handle about how she wanted him to make friends at M.I.T. I was thinking it even more. And, then of course in the end when he went ballistic and attacked Junior I was starting to get freaked out. I mean, what a crazy coincidence. Obviously this show was taped way before the shootings but this one hit a little too close to home for my comfort.

Was anyone else thinking the same thing or am I just crazy??

Thank god Vince is finally going to sleep with his agent. Maybe things will get weird and he'll go back to Ari. I WANT ARI BACK!!!!!

I'm glad they put Entourage on after the Sopranos. It makes me happy. Entourage puts a big smile on my face. The Sopranos sometimes is TOO dramatic for me. I start getting so involved in the story, worrying that Tony will go to jail and the he's going to whack Pauly. hehe Good lord I need a life.

I worked 8 hours yesterday to make up the time I took off on Thursday when I hung out with my dad. I could have worked today, but I chose to lay on the couch and veg all day. After that I got my nails and toes done. MUCH NEEDED. Now I can wear sandals again thank god.

Tuesday I'm finally getting my hair done. You have no idea how shitty it looks right now. I can't even stand looking in the mirror.

I played at the Red Rock with my dad the last day he was in town. We played 2-4 limit holdem and I remembered why I don't play limit. I hate it. I hate people that call every single bet and stay in every single hand and pull flushes out of their asses because you can't protect your hand in that game. Never again! I'm not doing it. It's way too frustrating.

The Red Rock Casino has been a very unhappy place for me lately. I'm staying away from there for a while. They just opened the new bowling alley this week and a bunch of friends went there last night and I went home. The Red Rock is a bad place for now. It'll be a good place again when I can get my ass out there to the pool. It's been too windy and cold for me to lay out but I think it's going to be in the 80's and 90's this week, so maybe next weekend I can lay out.

Well, it's practically Monday again. Hope everyone has a good week.

Friday!!

DAMN - Alec Baldwin really goes off on his 11 (or 12) year old daughter in this message...

I think this is a disgusting way to talk to your own daughter. What is wrong with this guy? Obviously he's unhappy, but he should have done some pushups or something before he left this message. I bet he's kicking himself in the ass today.

Hey - I just realized it's 4/20 when I was listening to the radio this morning. I was never much of a stoner - why didn't they ever have a national cocaine, heroine or ecstacy day? ha ha

DWTS - Week 5

I can't believe it's week 5 already!!!!! Time is flying by - thank god I have a DVR and I can tape this damn show. The amount of commercials they show is RIDICULOUS!! Seriously, I tape the Monday night and Tuesday night episodes of Dancing with the Stars and then I fast forward through all of the commercials and most of the interviews and I'm able to watch all the good stuff in like an hour. That's a lot better than the 2 and a half hours they drag it out to.

Okay - here we go. First off, let me say that I'm so happy that the voting has been right on point. Every single week I watch the dancers, I review the dances and I make my pick of who should go home based soley on who DESERVES to go home. So far it hasn't been a popularity contest. The people who deserved to go home, have gone home and I'm very pleased with the results.

Bye Bye Clyde Drexler!!

Cheryl Burke and 90210 boy were the first couple this week and they did the Samba. Generally, the samba is known as the carnival dance and it originates in Rio de janeiro. It's a really fun dance and it's done in the street and people wear costumes and you are supposed to just let loose and have fun with it. Ian let loose - a little too loose for my taste. I can't put my finger on it with him because he's got talent, you can see that, but I think he's nervous about the technical stuff a lot of the time and he either goes overboard with his movements or he is concentrating too hard and doesn't do enough. He could be a real contender in this contest, but he keeps messing up. He's not FEELING the rhythm and he's not FEELING the dances.

Heather Mills and her partner Jonathan did the samba too. Up until the very end, she did a great routine. Maybe she should have worried less about waxing her partner's chest and worried a little more about the stability of her leg. ha ha That was kinda of mean, but it's funny.

This picture was taken exactly one and a half seconds before she fell. It was a really small fall and basically she just lost her balance there at the end. The dance was still very good, her hip action was great, her smile was fantastic, she had a lot of fun with it and she let loose like she always does. Good for her.

Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson did the rumba. This is a seductive and sexy dance and it's slow. It's important that you stay in character and Joey definitely did that. I thought he did a great job. One of the judges said that he looked feminine when he did the dance, but I totally disagree. If he looked feminine maybe it was becaus he was practicing with Lance Bass and Alfonso Ribiera earlier in the week. I thought it was an awesome dance, he stayed in character like always, he had fun and most importantly, he has rythm and that is something you CANNOT learn.

They got a 25 out of 30 - so whatever. I'm sure he'll be back on top next week.

So, next on the dance floor was Cliffy (John Ratzenberger) and Edyta. I'm loving him. He's growing on me BIG TIME. He's adorable and he really brought it this week! I was so happy to see him having fun with this dance. He did the whole drum thing and he threw some 70's disco fever in there. I'm a sucker for the 70's!

Look how much fun he's having!!!

And, can we please take a minute to discuss Edyta Sliwinksi's body. Good lord. She's so tall and so thin and so graceful. My god! I'm just in awe everytime that woman comes out on the floor. I mean, all the dancers are hot, but it makes a difference when you are tall like that. If you put her next to Cheryl Burke, you see why the height makes such a difference. Cheryl has a great body too, but next to Edyta, she doesn't compare.

Could she wear any skimpier of an outfit??? I guess we'll find out.

Laila Ali and Maxim did the rumba. I loved it! She's so awesome. Her fiance' was adorable with his little jealous act in the beginning. Laila has such an athletic body and she's so toned, but she doesn't look bulky. She looked really pretty this week. The dance was very sensual, her and Maxim work well together and she can really work those hips! Her dance this week was her best so far.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Karina are probably going home in the next few weeks, but I love em. He's got got such heart. He doesn't usually do the technical stuff correctly, but he tries like hell and she's such a southern gentleman. Plus - who know he had these arms??????

He should wear sleeveless shirts always!!!!!

I love the purple outfits too. Purple is my favorite color and it looked great on them. THis wasn't his best dance, because he looked really awkard and uncomfortable. My guess is that he was uncomfortable doing a sexy and intimate dance with someone he barely even knows. My guess is that he's a loyal husband. I might be totally wrong, but I don't think so.

And, by far the best dance of the night was Apolo and Juliane's samba. They rocked the house!!!!!

Here's the clip...

I can't get enough of these two. They are so cute and fun to watch. All of the elements came together in this routine and they scored a perfect 30. Watch out Joey and Kym!

Just for the record though, Joey seems a little more comfortable in his own skin and I think that's really important. If I had to pick a winner right now, it would be Joey Fatone and Kym.

Who should go home next week? Now it's starting to get tough. The first 5 weeks were obvious. This is where we really start separating the men from the boys.

Poker at the Nugget

So, yesterday my dad flew into town and he arrived pretty early, but I had to work all day, so I was dying to get out of here so I could go see him. Finally I left at 5:00 p.m. on the dot and drove downtown to the Golden Nugget where he was playing poker with Weak and MiamiDon. Yay!! I hadn't been to the Golden Nugget in like a year. They moved the poker room and I guess they upgraded it although it doesn't look much different and they also built a new pool. Oh my god this pool is FANTASTIC!! I love it.

If you take a good look, you can see that there is a shark tank in the middle of the pool and then there is a water slide that goes through the center.

They also have several decks so that you can sit up higher and look down. They have private cabanas that you can rent and chairs that sit in the pool so that you never have to be dry.

My parents are staying there in July, so I'll be hanging out there for sure and I'm gonna keep one of the room keys so that I can go there whenever I want. I think my mom said she's paying $52 a night. So, if your looking for a cheap place to stay when you are in town, check out the Nugget.

We had a pretty cool group of people playing at our table. This one guy in particular, Paul, was great. We really liked him. He lives in town and owns Kilroy's, home of the world's greatest burgers.

My dad is on the right and Paul is on the left.

So, we headed out to Fremont Street and went over to Sam Boyd's casino to eat dinner. I wanted to go to Tony Roma's cause I had never been there and the ribs looked good. They were very good! Somehow they gave Don the wrong fish. It was so obvious too because he ordered Mahi and they gave him Salmon. YUCK. I hate salmon and it's pink. Mahi is white. They felt bad and took it off the bill so that was cool at least. I think the waitress probably rang in the wrong fish because I can't imagine that a chef would confuse the two.

Here's me and my dad...

Some passerbys took this picture of us...

Notice the guy standing up on the left. We don't know him, but he was colorful and his girlfriend took the picture, so we let him get in. He was carrying a purse, but he put it down for the picture. hehe

Anyway, I guess I better do some work now.

Oh, I heard on the radio this morning that Apollo got a perfect score last night on his dance, so I'm really excited to watch Dancing with the Stars tonight. I also heard that Heather's leg didn't quite fall off, but she fell last night. Hmmm. I'm still hoping the leg will fly off at some point - I should have placed my bet on Bodog.

Another weekend is over already?

I'm about to play in the Big Game. I don't think I've ever played before. My dad was nice enough to win me a token, so I'm sure I'll donk it up pretty good tonight.

Friday after work I went over to the MGM and met up with MiamiDon, Weakplayer, and Columbo. I had one goal and that was to win enough money to get my hair done. My hair is HURTING right. The roots are growing out, it's too long, it's a mess. Why haven't I gotten it done? Well, because it's expensive as hell. I really can't justify spending that much money on my hair when I can't even pay my bills. I was tempted to go to the store and just get a box and dye my hair, when it ocurred to me that maybe I could play some live poker and win it.

So, I went to the MGM and at first I was at a table by myself, but eventually we all moved to the same table and after a few hours, I won enough money to get my hair done! Yay!! I cashed out and went home and immediately took the money out of my wallet and put it in the drawer so that I wouldn't spend it. It's crazy that I have to play these little games with myself, but if it's in my wallet, it won't be there for long.

Anyway, I wasn't in the mood to take pictures, but I snapped this one...

Columbo is on the right and Weak is on the left...

Don't worry, I'll have plenty of photo opportunities this week while my dad is in town. Of course, I have to work the whole time, but I'm sure we'll have fun!!

Update - I watched the Sopranos - it was BORING! Something needs to happen soon. Does anyone else think that Chris is going to get whacked??

Entourage was good as always. That show rocks.

Top 5 List

My Top 5 List of Casino's in Las Vegas

5. The Stratosphere

Don't laugh dammit! The reason I like the Stratosphere is because you get the best value there. When we came out here to find a place to live, we got a room at the stratosphere for like $39 a night. The room was clean and it served it's purpose. I also enjoy playing in the poker tournaments there. They have one at 8 p.m. if I remember correctly and the buyin isn't very costly, but you get a lot of chips and it was a lot of fun. Plus, you can go behind the building and buy any kind of drug you could ever want and let's be honest, that's always a good thing right? ha ha

Oh, and don't let me forget about the best thrill ride in Vegas.

I can't think of the name of this ride, wait, I kn ow - it's called "Insanity" and it's so freakin fun!! I loved it. All the rides at the top are pretty cool!

4. The Aladdin

I know it's not called the Aladdin anymore, but whatever. My favorite thing about the Aladdin is the shopping. They have some great stores, the mall is easy to navigate (unlike the Fashion Show Mall) and the prices are right. They have high end stores, but they also have reasonable places to shop too.

I also played in a tournament over there a few times when the poker room was under construction. I haven't been there in a while, so I don't know how the poker room looks now or even if the tournaments have the same structure. I should make it a point to head over there again soon.

3. The Rio

I like the Rio because it's the home of the WSOP!!!! I love that I can head down there anytime during the WSOP and walk through, watch the circuit events, try to satellite into the games and watch all the pro's play too. I also got to sit at the final table of the HORSE event last year. I hope to catch a few final tables this year too.

I also like the carnival. I think it's really cool!

The hooker bar has the loosest slots and they have a nice plentiful slot floor at the Rio, I like a nice variety. Also, I'm not a big fan of buffets, but the Rio had one of the nicest buffets that I've ever been too. Lastly, it's off the strip and it's a little easier to get to without dealing with a ton of traffic.

2. The MGM Grand

I basically like the MGM Grand for one major reason. The poker room! It's my favorite. I love the music that comes over from Centrifuge, I know all the dealers and most of them are cool as hell and most importantly, there is always a lot of action there.

I also love the lions. They are so cute!!!

I hate the slots at the MGM, they never payout. The restaurants are SO expensive at the MGM too. Even the freakin cafe is over-rated.

1. The Red Rock Casino

The Red Rock is my favorite because it's new, it's beautiful, they have great customer service over there, parking is usually pretty plentiful, they have the BIGGEST slot floor in all of Vegas. Not always a good thing, but whatever. The buffet is good, they send me a lot of coupons, I have a lot of comps there, the poker room has a bathroom in it. I don't know of any other poker rooms that have their own bathroom. That's a big thing!!

Most importantly, they have the coolest pool! I love it. I have a room key now, so I can go lay out over there whenever I want and it's GREAT. Not only do they have a huge pool with waterfalls, but Cherry nightclub also has a private pool too. I had the opportunity to hang out there last summer and that was fun. It's hidden, you would never even know it's there. Kinda cool! The spa over there rocks too.

This is the private pool...

Honorable mention goes to the Palms.

I love the Ghost Bar and I love N9Ne steak house. N9Ne is my favorite restaurant in Vegas so I couldn't leave it out. I hate the poker room though and the slots are tight and the people there think they are so better than. Pretentious ya know?
